Cold Case
9 pm/ET CBS
The series, which is on the bubble for renewal, concludes its sixth season with a strong two-part episode in which Lilly investigates the 2005 murder of a local military academy's first female cadet. The victim's body is discovered in a buried foot locker, and the probe reveals that the freshman continually drew the ire of her fellow male cadets, school officials and obnoxious alumni. Music from Pearl Jam's legendary 1991 debut album, Ten, is heard exclusively on tonight's hour and next week's finale. —Tim Holland

Family Guy
9 pm/ET FOX
Man bites dog. That's news. So, apparently, is reality star dates dog. It seems that Brian, in a drunken stupor following his ex-girlfriend Jillian's engagement to another guy, hooks up with Lauren Conrad of The Hills, and before long all of Hollywood is snarking about it. Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson have voice cameos (doing their monologues), as do Conrad and her Hills confrere Audrina Patridge. —Paul Droesch

Desperate Housewives
9 pm/ET ABC
The news tonight: Orson is on the way out of Bree's life (she hires a lawyer) and Jackson (Gale Harold) is back in Susan's — just as Mike seems to be cooling on Katherine. Hmmm. In any event, Susan might need both guys (and anyone else who'll help) to protect her and MJ from Dave. Her confession about the accident last week hit Dave like a ton of bricks — and he isn't exactly stable to begin with — so there's a good chance that this story line will be around for awhile. —Paul Droesch

In Plain Sight
10 pm/ET USA
Mary Shannon isn't exactly crazy about the idea of family, as hers is an endless source of trouble. Now that Brandi seems dedicated to getting her act together, Jinx causes new problems with her DUI arrest. So it's not hard to imagine that Mary's next case — helping a witness (played by Cynthia Watros) handle her three wild kids — isn't easy for her. She has to play babysitter to the brood, keep her witness safe and, most importantly, keep her cool. Easier said than done. —Brie Hearn

Brothers & Sisters
10:01 pm/ET ABC
The cat had Kitty's tongue last week when Robert asked how she felt about Alec — who, incidentally, later had Kitty's tongue when they smooched on the porch swing of his new house. So now that this romance has gone past the fantasy stage, it's time for Kitty to fish or cut bait. And in a like-father-like-daughter moment, she reflects on the sins of William Walker (guest star Tom Skerritt) while trying to figure out how to proceed with her own life. —Joe Friedrich

Kentucky Derby
4 pm/ET NBC
"The most exciting two minutes in sports" begin at 6:04 pm/ET in Louisville, preceded by two hours of anticipation (or anxiety, depending on how much moolah you've got invested in the race). While sipping that mint julep, enjoy one part red-carpet interviews with the rich and famous at Churchill Downs, and two parts race buildup, focusing on profiles and analysis of the expected 19-horse field. Likely post-time favorite I Want Revenge has the services of teenager Joe Talamo, a likable star of Animal Planet's reality series, Jockeys. Among the trainers, three-time winner Bob Baffert is squarely back in the Derby spotlight with Pioneerof the Nile, while Todd Pletcher has three more chances (Dunkirk, Advice, Join in the Dance) to end his personal Derby hex. For those who remember ill-fated 2008 Derby runner-up Eight Belles, her trainer, Larry Jones, is taking another shot at the Roses with Louisiana Derby champion Friesan Fire. —Roger Leister

JONAS
8 pm/ET Disney
The ubiquitous Jonas Brothers star in this critic-proof comedy as — what else? — pop superstars who are heartthrobs for millions of teen and preteen girls. But here, Nick, Joe and Kevin Lucas (the band is named JONAS) are "normal" high schoolers by day, trying to live quiet lives away from the stage. Of course, their stardom and adoring fans keep interrupting. In the opener, Nick falls hard for a pretty new student and even writes a love song for her. Joe and Kevin know he's headed for heartbreak, but lovestruck Nick refuses to see it. —Tim Holland

Living Out Loud
9 pm/ET Hallmark
Gail O'Grady stars in tonight's original movie as high-school music teacher Emily, whose cancer diagnosis causes her to re-evaluate her humdrum routine. Drawing inspiration from a spunky patient (played by Babs Chula) she befriends during chemo treatments, Emily reconnects with her passion for singing and writing music, a dream she put on the back burner while raising her kids. Her family, meanwhile, is left to adjust to Emily's shifting priorities and must find new ways to connect to each other and follow their own dreams. —Brie Hearn

The Best of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
8 pm/ET Food Network
Over the past few years, Guy Fieri has visited hundreds of the country's best "greasy spoon" joints, indulging in a diet that would make a nutritionist shudder. Tonight the spiky-haired host is taking a look back at his favorite moments from the series' first six seasons and the most memorable dishes he tried that were truly "off the hook." —Karen Andzejewicz

NASCAR Racing
7 pm/ET FOX
Nothing beats the look of nighttime racing, which is the only time for Sprint Cup action on the intimate three-quarter-mile oval at Richmond International Raceway. NASCAR is still abuzz over last week's spectacular crash-and-pass that sent Brad Keselowski to victory and Carl Edwards into the catch fence at Talladega. Richmond had a similar finish in this race last year, with a low-profile winner (Clint Bowyer) squeezing past a late-race wreck (involving Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr.). —Roger Leister

Dollhouse
9:01 pm/ET FOX
The penultimate episode of the season finds a face familiar to Joss Whedon fans. Alan Tudyk, nice guy Wash on Firefly and Serenity, appears in the season's final two installments as the Dollhouse's designer, an agoraphobic whose anxiety is sure to be heightened when Ballard's investigation hones in on him. —Jeff Gemmill

Numbers
10 pm/ET CBS
The math-drenched crime series celebrates its 100th episode with a knotty murder mystery that entangles Charlie to the point of obsession. Still smarting from an error that led to Don's almost-fatal stabbing, Charlie throws himself into tracking an off-the-radar serial killer he claims is responsible for two dozen seemingly unrelated murders. But no one believes him. To add insult to injury, David teams Charlie with a geeky amateur detective (a hilarious Josh Gad) who tracks aliens when he's not researching serial murders. —Tim Holland

Fairly Oddparents
8 pm/ET Nickelodeon
Timmy begins a three-part adventure in which he must save the Earth from a destructive dark hole known as the Darkness. (Parts 2 and 3 air on Saturday and Sunday.) A brave Timmy faces the challenges of finding mystical wands and escaping robotic soldiers known as Eliminators. Several Hollywood blockbusters are parodied as his quest takes him far and wide, even leading him to a KISS concert. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Brendan Fraser and Patrick Warburton are all on hand to provide voices. —Jennifer Sankowski

Supernanny
9 pm/ET ABC
Although the parents in tonight's fifth-season finale have important positions at a local church, that doesn't mean their four children are little angels. In fact, these kids are so out of control that their violent behavior has been known to result in bloodshed. But short of any divine intervention, the task of playing peacemaker falls to Jo, who must also address the father's "spare the rod" approach to discipline. —Joe Friedrich

Paul Rodriguez & Friends: Comedy Rehab
11 pm/ET Comedy Central
On a good night, successful stand-up comics are known for how much they killed, often with a series of rapid-fire punch lines that can leave an audience in stitches. But Paul Rodriguez isn't going to rehab to reverse any homicidal tendencies. In fact, it might be viewers who are better off after Rodriguez and fellow Latino comics Shayla Rivera, Gene Pompa and Manny Maldonado prove that laughter, after all, is the best medicine. —Joe Friedrich

My Name Is Earl
8 pm/ET NBC
A Rivera runs through it when the sitcom kicks off a two-part episode tonight. In Part 1, Geraldo Rivera guest stars as a journalist whose news show, Inside Probe, infiltrates Camden to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Crab Shack owner Ernie Belcher. Sure, it takes a good eight years for the segment to finally air, but as the Camden crew settles in to view it, it becomes all too obvious that Earl and Randy are looking like prime suspects. NASCAR racer Michael Waltrip revs up for a guest-star turn. —Dean Maurer

Survivor: Tocantins — The Brazilian Highlands
8 pm/ET CBS
Coach's warrior alliance was struck a massive blow last week when Tyson, his ultra-smug cohort, was blindsided at tribal council and sent to join Brendan on the jury. The self-anointed dragon slayer must now scramble to stay in the game, and he's reduced to currying favor with Sierra, whom he tried to oust last week. Is it possible that Coach will get out-schooled by his pupils and become the third member of the jury? —Tim Holland

30 Rock
9:31 pm/ET NBC
Tracy's racy — and he's also erratic and bratty. And Miz Liz has had enough of it. When Liz chides Tracy in front of the staffers, it causes a strange yet wondrous thing to happen: Tracy tries to be a better person, a more professional and mature person. He forfeits all special treatment — but he feels that Liz should do the same. Meanwhile, Jack continues to have daddy issues, especially when his tormenting mother (Elaine Stritch) digs up foul facts about the Donaghy patriarch. And there's monkey business with Jenna: She adopts a pet ape, only to learn valuable lessons about motherhood. Steve Buscemi guest stars. —Dean Maurer

Private Practice
10:02 pm/ET ABC
It's season-finale time, so dust off those wedding bells. For Violet and Sheldon? For Violet and Pete? Oh well, at least there's a baby on the way. Too bad the very-pregnant Morgan is smack in the middle of whatever's going on between Addison and Noah. Meanwhile, how about that slick health-care exec's offer to set Naomi up in a cutting-edge practice of her own? Didn't he tell Charlotte the same thing? And Dell won't have to search for his daughter after all. That's the good news.... —Paul Droesch

Bridget's Sexiest Beaches
10 pm/ET Travel Channel
It's a Girls Next Door reunion when Bridget Marquardt returns home to Southern California and meets up with fellow GND cast mates Holly Madison and (the soon-to-be-married) Kendra Wilkinson. Hef's former gal pals are sure to stir up all sorts of trouble when they check out Malibu's secluded beaches and San Diego's hot nightlife scene. —Karen Andzejewicz
